As the company's latest zero-emission machine, the 66-40E Teletruk offers an excellent operator environment while providing the material handling capabilities of an industrial forklift. This quiet machine is ideal for indoor use and noise-sensitive environments, yet like all JCB machines, it is equipped to deliver world-class power, range, and the ability to operate in any weather conditions. The 66-40E Teletruk features a unique telescopic reach of over 7 feet, allowing for easy one-sided loading and placement across standard pallets, enhancing productivity and enabling unloading in tight spaces. With a maximum lifting capacity of 6,600 pounds, it achieves heavy lifting capabilities across various applications. The combination of reach and lifting capacity provides operators with exceptional control for a range of tasks, including unloading inside ships, unloading pallets from the rear of box trucks, and even reaching into the front of vans from the rear door. "The launch of the electric Teletruk is a long-awaited new member of our JCB Teletruk family," said Rebecca Yates, JCB North America Teletruks Product Manager. "The 66-40E Teletruk expands the range of diesel and liquefied petroleum gas-powered Teletruks to include electric-powered machines that can operate safely in environmentally restricted areas, low emission zones, and food storage applications. This machine is also highly efficient, powered by an 80v lead-acid battery with a separate charger, providing 8 hours of standard run time." Like all JCB machines, the 66-40E Teletruk incorporates JCB's innovative technology, setting the standard for ease of operation, comfort, and safety. JCB's unique load motion control feature alerts operators through a simple progressive green, amber, and red warning light system and gradually stops the lifting hydraulic system when the maximum lifting capacity is reached, preventing forward tipping. The spacious cab is equipped with the JCB CommandPlus control panel and ergonomic controls, providing an exceptionally comfortable working environment that reduces operator fatigue and increases productivity. Other standard features include: single-lever control and SMART hydraulic system for improved operation; SPINTURN 90° rear axle, allowing the machine to rotate within its own axis; SMART electric drive system; LED work lights, LED beacon, and reversing arm; as well as the LiveLink telematics system with a five-year subscription.
